Artist, World Builder, Nightlife Researcher, Event Producer and Accessibility Advocate

The Mobile Dyke Bar is a moving queer space that rolls into festivals, venues, and unexpected urban spots—wherever the community needs it.

Ali has worked with Lucy Nurnberg to bring the concept of The Mobile Dyke Bar to life through set design and world building. Operating out of curtainside Luton vans, its interior is a playful, ever-changing setup designed to bring dyke camp energy to any setting. Since its launch at Mighty Hoopla Festival in June 2024, it has popped up at Field Maneuvers, The Yard Theatre, the Victoria & Albert Museum, RuPaul’s DragCon 2025, and beyond.

Known for its high-energy arm wrestling showdowns, spontaneous karaoke sessions, and megaphone commentary from the Uhaul Dyke Rescue crew, Ali has been apart of the project since April ‘24 and worked alongside Lucy to bring this travelling venue to the masses.
